SafePay: fees and payment methods

Before choosing, see how you can pay, what is deducted and how much the seller receives.

SafePay is optional. Direct payment agreements have no SafePay fee and no SafePay payment protection.

SafePay fees at a glance

10%

The total CONE24 / SafePay fee is 10% of the entire payment, including shipping. It is deducted from the seller payout.

Example with a total payment of 100 CHF, including shipping.

One fee, not two.
Stripe processing costs are paid from the CONE24 / SafePay fee. They are not deducted again from the seller amount shown above.

Additional CONE24 / SafePay surcharge for the buyer: 0.00 CHF.

For staged payments, only the accepted stage is released, less its share of the same total fee. No second fee is added for each stage.

For your purchase, the final total, exact fee and seller amount must be shown before both parties confirm the SafePay agreement.

This shows the current preparation status for CONE24 SafePay. At checkout, you will only see payment methods actually available for your purchase.

Credit and debit cardIn card checkout: Card payment is prepared for launch: for example Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Stripe shows which cards are eligible for your purchase at checkout.
Apple Pay / Google PayDevice dependent: May appear in card checkout if Stripe offers them for your device, browser, saved card and account. They are not available on every device.
TWINTNot connected yet: Not integrated with CONE24 SafePay yet. TWINT can support eligible CHF payments by buyers in Switzerland; approval and integration are still required before use.
PayPalNot connected yet: Not integrated with CONE24 SafePay yet. Marketplace payments require separate Stripe/PayPal approval followed by integration.

Bank transfer, cash or other directly agreed payment routes are outside CONE24 SafePay. They have no SafePay fee and no SafePay payment protection.

The initial SafePay offering is for eligible, verified users, with payments in CHF from 100 CHF. Seller payout eligibility is checked separately.

If buyer and seller arrange payment directly outside SafePay, no SafePay fee is charged and SafePay payment protection does not apply.
